Book Review: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid is a quick and easy read that didn’t challenge me in any interesting ways. It was a frustrating read at times, but also explored queer love and complex human relationships.

The fact that it is almost the end of January has been a bit of a shock to my system, I can’t lie. It seems like I’ve only just woken up to 2023. December was just earlier this morning, wasn’t it?
Just start writing.
I keep putting off the writing I say I want to do so desperately. So perhaps if I publish this little post about why I’ve been afraid to write, it’ll spark that fire under my ass and get my fingers moving.

Why do we like to simplify things? Are things that are intricate and detailed not beautiful? Is there no depth in complexity?
